The mandate of Dr. István Hodász, the Chief Executive Officer of Egis has expired in February 2022. Mr. Hodász informed the Board of Directors that he did not wish to renew his mandate due to personal reasons. 

Egis and Servier, the sole shareholder, would like to deeply thank István for his passionate and significant contribution to the development of the Company over the past 13 years as Chief Executive Officer.

A process of selection of a future Chief Executive Officer has been started. Meanwhile, Mr. Csaba Poroszlai, Chief Financial Officer and member of the Board of Directors of Egis, has accepted to assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of Egis until a new one is selected and appointed.

We thank Mr. Csaba Poroszlai and welcome him to his role and look forward to his commitment and leadership to enable continuity in the strong performance of Egis activities.
