Egis has been doing volunteer work for HU Red Cross since 1990. Our colleagues can give blood at our sites multiple times each year - altogether we have 300 events supporting this cause. The blood one person is able to donate on a single occasion can save up to three lives. This way, our employees can contribute to close to 900 people's recovery in a year. Our site in Körmed has recently won another award for encouraging and supporting Egis employees to volunteer for blood donations. Besides these important occasions, we also organize several charity events throughout the year to help underprivileged families.

On behalf of our company, Ildikó Szebelédi received the Hungarian Red Cross' certificate of merit on 18 April at the headquarters of the organization.
